Shared Ground Transportation

We offer semi-private shared ground transportation for families who are moving or bringing a new pet home. With a shared ride your dog or cat will have a comfortable spot inside our minivan along with one or two other pets. We want to offer the same level of care and communication as our private trips but offer you a cost-sharing alternative.

How far in advance should I book my trip?
We like to offer you a customized service plan based on your specific needs. Final pricing will depend on your location within the US, how soon you need a pickup, and our shared ride availability. The average shared ground transport starts around $.75 per mile.
Who will be driving my pets?
90% of the time myself, Amanda, and my husband, Alex, will be your pet's driver. However, sometimes we can match you with one of our trusted partners who is closer to your pickup city or has the availability that matches your needs. We know our drivers personally, have met them in person, and can confidently stand by the service they will offer to your family. We will always discuss these arrangements in advance.
We recommend booking 6-8 weeks in advance when possible. When selling a house or on military orders we understand your timeline is limited and you may not be able to book transport until a month in advance. We do our best to accommodate your move! Last minute transports (within a week of pickup) are possible at a premium.
How long is the trip?
Most coast-to-coast trips can be completed in just five to six days. On average we drive about 500-650 miles per day and stay at campsites and rest areas at night. You will have constant access to our location via GPS tracking and we check in throughout the day with photos so you are always in the loop.
